You are a feeding therapist or lactation consultant. You've helped plenty of babies and their parents with a variety of problems, but getting a breastfed baby to drink from a bottle (again) can sometimes be a challenge.
You're no stranger to the stress and frustration of a family where the mother has to return to work (reluctantly) within a considerable time. You'd love to help them with a clear approach and a solid step-by-step plan.

✔︎ You're looking for an effective approach to help parents get their baby to drink from a bottle (again).
✔︎ You're looking for practical training with an experienced feeding therapist SLP and lactation consultant.
A unique approach to help desperate parents get back on track.
Imagine walking into a family's home at their wits' end, convinced you can help. You have the confidence to conduct a well-founded history, examination, and diagnosis of a breastfed baby who refuses to take a bottle. You understand the theoretical background and can find an explanation for the problem. Based on this, you can choose the right treatment method.
You leave the family as the "baby whisperer," because the parents no longer expected a solution ;-)

Maaske is not only a feeding therapist (SLT & SLP), but also a lactation consultant.
Based on her own experience and knowledge, Maaske has created a unique approach that can't be found online or in textbooks. This approach is constantly evolving, so you'll be immediately up-to-date on the latest insights!
As an Infant Mental Health expert, Nike adds significant value to the course. Babies learn through safe interactions with their parents/caregivers, and if you can intervene in this as a speech therapist or lactation consultant, you're in for a treat!
Speech therapist and teacher Maaske has been working with babies since 2009 and is a mother of three. She specializes in OMFT (oromyofunctional therapy), feeding therapy (ages 0-2), is familiar with the IMH vision, and is a lactation consultant. Since 2017, she has worked exclusively with young children with eating and drinking difficulties, giving her extensive knowledge and practical experience in oral motor skills and swallowing. She has collaborated with dentists and supervised research on bite force, tongue-ties, and the phasing out of thumb sucking, among other things.
Nike worked for several years as a midwife (in primary and secondary care), became an IBCLC lactation consultant and is an Infant Mental Health generalist. She also completed the Newborn Behavioural Observations (NBO) course at the Brazelton Institute UK, the Basic Dunstan Baby Language training for professionals, the masterclass Advanced Clinical Skills for Management of Breastfeeding, Cry-fuss, Sleep and Mood Problems: Masterclasses in Neuroprotective Developmental Care ('The Possums Programs') and a trainer training in Mindfulness with your baby. She has started the Mindfulness-based childbirth and parenting (fear) professionals training. She is a lecturer at IMH Netherlands for the course 'Promoting attachment in 1 conversation', based on the book 'First aid for attachment' by Paulien Kuipers.
